HINESVILLE, Ga. — A 27-year-old woman, identified as Kretia Clancy, was tragically killed Tuesday night in a shooting incident in Hinesville, Georgia. Authorities found Clancy shot in the back inside a vehicle near the intersection of Strickland Road and EG Miles Parkway.
Emergency responders rushed Clancy to Memorial Hospital, where she underwent surgery. Despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries.
Police believe that Clancy and the shooter were known to each other, and the case is being actively investigated as a homicide. Detectives continue to work on identifying suspects and gathering information.
